Sir Frederick Grant Banting was a Canadian medical scientist, doctor, painter and Nobel laureate noted as the primary discoverer of insulin. He lived a part of his life in London Ontario and therefore there is The Banting House National Historic Site of Canada here. Thank you Mr Banting!
