Weekend in Michigan

On Friday we drove to Birmingham, near Detroit. My first border crossing by car was really easy. Paid 3.50 $ and answered some questions.

Day 126

In order to visit my classmates at LLI (London Language Institute) I used the London bus system the first time.  It worked very well!

Day 125

Barbecue II
Today we enjoyed our second barbecue. We were seven people and had food for about fourteen. Anytime I would like to experience barbecue which someone is hungry afterwards.

Day 124

I thought I would have no topic for today, but one of our housemates screamed: "There is a skunk in our backyard!". I took my camera and ran. I saw its tail! It was too dark and unfortunately I had no chance to take a picture. However, I saw the tail of a Canadian skunk and I still smell good!

Day 123

This is for all technophobes (who will probably not read this blog). When you are in another country it's good to have the internet, it's is good to have email, notebooks, smartphones, skype, google, google maps, youtube, steam, ard/zdf mediatheks, kindles, navigation systems, ...

Unfortunately, I get no money for this!

Day 122

Toronto IV

Maybe our last trip to Toronto before we leave Canada (flying from Toronto).
We visited the University, Queen's Park, the Royal Ontario Museum, had dinner at Hero Certified Burgers and took the ferry to Toronto Islands.

Day 121

Niagara Glen Nature Reserve

We hiked at the bank of the Niagara River. It was nice, the rocks in the wood were reminiscent of the Franconian Switzerland and we were bitten by the mosquitos.
